A gastric bypass restaurant review - P.F. Chang's

Last night I had a wonderful dinner with a friend who is also a veteran of weight loss surgery. A new P.F. Chang's just opened up in the area and we decided to check it out.

I told her we HAD to get some of the chicken lettuce wraps because they are famous. They're also very delicious AND went down pretty well. I like the fact that they are seemingly more carb friendly since there is no tortilla.

At the risk of sounding like Rachel Ray, these were totally yumm-o!

Then I had the Cantonese shrimp which was stir fried with garlic and snow peas. Very light, and very tasty. I'm looking forward to eating the rest for lunch today. Shrimp is a fairly high protein food, with over 20g of protein in 4 oz. of shrimp, so I've been eating my fair share.

Overall, I give it two thumbs up for being gastric bypass friendly.
